What’s the best place in Melbourne to photograph sunrise and sunset?

Hi all,
I am looking forward to shooting some sunrise/sunset scenes in Melbourne, what areas will get me the best view for sunrise? What’s the best for sunset?
Also are there any vantage points (maybe in the NE, Eastern or SE suburbs) to photograph the CBD at dusk?

I’m not a photographer but, I lived on the Mornington Peninsula some years ago and I watched the most beautiful sunsets from my kitchen window anyone could ever see,and that was all the year round as well. I suggest go up to Arther’s seat, it’s very high up and I’m sure you’ll get some fantastic shots from up there. By the way, Arther’s seat is in Dromana. When you see these sunsets, it’s hard not to believe God’s creations. Hope this helped.

I was at the Great Ocean Road a few years ago, and managed to capture some really beautiful sunset view with the sea and rocks in the foreground. Picture perfect, even for an amateur like me.
But if you don’t want to travel so far, the Melbourne 360 Rialto in the city has views you can choose from.
Hi well for the best sunsets St Kilda esplanade Marina where the yachts are moored is spectacular to include in photographs etc Cheers ?

Mt. Dandenong is good.
Mt. Donna Buang in Warburton is probably one of the better ones.
Sunset at Black Rock beach is also good.
